Information for New Music Families

General Information:
*Class Catalog for 2026-2027 School Year will be posted soon. You can see class offerings on the SCHEDULE page.
*Classes for 2026-2027 are:
Ages 10 & Up: Choir, Drama, Beginning Band, Beyond Beginning Band, Beginning Strings, and Beyond Beginning Strings, Creative Skit Writing, Watercolor 101, and Dancing Around the World.
Ages 8&9: Recorder Kids, Basic Acting for 8/9 (separate class fee), Beginning Piano (separate class fee), Xylophone Kids, Music & Me Kids Choir
Ages 7-9: Xylophone Kids!, Music & Me Kids Choir, Dancing Around the World
Ages 5-9: Music & Me Kids Choir, Dancing Around the World
*We are a group of families that were seeking to create a sustainable yet affordable music program for our homeschool children.
*We are primarily a homeschool music program, but are open to any school aged students that are available during our class hours.
*We hope to give young musicians a place to grow and use in their musical gifts from a place of Christian values.
*Your student can take as many classes as they would like for the flat yearly rate.
*If there are multiple students within one family, they all can take as many classes as they would like, paying the per student rate for each student, until they reach the max family rate (good for the whole school year).
*Cost is affordable for big and small families.
*Parents & household family members are welcome to participate in Drama, Band, Strings and Guitar at the 10 & up student rate.
*Our teachers are qualified teachers that have taught in other music programs. See Teacher page for more information on our teachers.
*We are a Christian music program that hires Christian music teachers.
*We are a drop off program. Children over the age of 12 - you do not need to be on campus while your children are in classes. If your children are under the age of 12 - please ask another parent to be their guardian while you are off campus.
*Returning families can register online.
*Band & Strings will not be taking classes take students mid-year.
Dates:
*Thursday Classes begin on Sept 10, 2026, at Inspire Church in Sedro Woolley, WA.
*Students must be Age 10 by Sept 1 of the current school year to take the Age 10 & Up classes.
*Students must be Age 5 by Sept 1 of the current school year to take the 5-9 classes.
*Program runs Sept through May (or early June.)
*2 Concerts yearly - Christmas Concert in December & End of School Year Concert in late May.
*Band & Strings may have 2 extra "play party" concerts
*3 Drama Performances in late May or early June (perform 1 night & then 2x on one day).
*1 Parent/Teacher Night in the Fall. Meet the Teachers!!! Ask questions!!

*We are taking class time off at Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and Spring Break. Check the calendar for specific dates for your classes. Days off depend on which classes you are enrolled in.
Fundraisers & Volunteer Hours:
*We ask parents to do volunteer hours. See the Volunteer Coordinator for more information.
If you choose to not volunteer, the buyout is $250 per school year. You will be billed at the end of th eyear if you do not meet your volunteer hours.
*We ask parents to donate snack type foods for our concession sales during our concerts & drama performance.
*We have 2-3 fundraisers per year that we expect everyone to participate in.
*Fundraisers help keep our costs at rates much lower than other programs.

*You will be added to a VCMA email group to help with communication.

Financial Info:
*You pay per child up to the max for the family rate - for the whole school year.
*Family Cap of $1350. (Enrollment fee of $200 per family is included.)
*Add on A La Carte classes have a separate enrollment fee.
*We take payments. Tuition/Enrollment must be paid in full to enroll the following year.

*We take * cash * check * debit * credit. Debit & Credit are through PayPal.
*Drama students: there is an add on fee (on top of the normal tuition rate) of $50/student.
